Geochang County is a central city in the southern inland region blessed with rainfall and clean, underground springs. Surrounded by three national parks (Jirisan, Deogyusan and Gayasan), Geochang is a healing city with infinite potential and pristine forest resources.

We will thinking only about serving the citizens, carry out progressive administration and work to become the best local government in the nation. With our administrative philosophy of developing Geochang into a central city of education, administration, culture, tourism, and agriculture in western Gyeongnam, we are currently preparing to enter an era of 1 million forest tourists through attractions like Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land, Changpowon Botanical Garden, the "Star Wind Hill" at Gamaksan Mountain and Ppaejae Forest Leisure Sports Park. Also, by establishing an elevator industry cluster, we aim to make Geochang a globally recognized hub in the elevator sector.

Our five administrative goals are to realize - "A Premium Education for Achieving Dreams", "An Economy of Mutual Growth around Elevator Industry," "A Competitive Future Agriculture," "Welfare System that Makes Everyone Happy," and "Culture and Tourism Harmonized with Nature." By achieving these goals, we will make Geochang a sustainable, future city where everyone wants to live in.

Working closely with 700 public officials of the county, I will create Geochang a proud hometown for the residents and Geochang people living away from Geochang.
