Geochang Changpowon is a large ecological park that was developed from a flooded area into an ecological garden. In 2021, it was registered as the first local garden of Gyeongsangnam-do. It has become a popular tourist destination that attracts many visitors and it’s open all year-round.

The places offers rich, colorful sights in all four seasons. In spring, the garden is filled with beautiful clusters of irises and in May, this is where the "Arimia Flower Festival" is held. Visitors come to enjoy chrysanthemums and the colorful autumn leaves in the fall and the tropical greenhouse, silver grass and reed fields in winter. The tropical plant garden, especially popular in winter, allows visitors to view tropical plants inside a warm greenhouse. The park is also a great spot for walks and picnics.
