Every year, in May, the National Family Month, Geochang Art Festival is held by the Geochang Branch of the Federation of Artistic and Cultural Organizations of Korea, offering a complete exhibition festival of the members artistic and cultural works, and it aims to improve the quality of our life and cultural awareness through future-oriented, leading artistic and cultural activities.

The Geochang Branch of the Federation of Artistic and Cultural Organizations of Korea is comprised of Gugak (traditonal Korean music) associations, writers associations, dance, art, photography, theatre, entertainment and music associations.
